¿ Partner with SVP marketing to develop social media and digital content creation and content management strategy for the Applebees brand. ¿ Develop annual calendar of ¿news¿ events to build relationships with guests, enhance the brand and link social phenomenon to business results. ¿ Align organization and franchise marketing councils ¿ Lead agency partner in building social media and digital content ¿ Partner with marketfusion to measure results
Web Site Management
¿ This position will lead Applebees.com on line content and messaging from an overall strategic level. ¿ As our primary messaging face to the on line community our goal is provide appropriate content that reflects the Applebee¿s brand positioning. ¿ Working with the Brand Managers and Creative team to ensure that all online content, promotions, messaging etc., are in line with the strategy. ¿ Work closely with Information Management to ensure that content management programs fit within the appropriate architecture. ¿ Ensure the appropriate legal approvals have been realized. ¿ Work closely with Director of Communication to ensure that we are sending the appropriate message to our online community. Support additional on line marketing messages as appropriate.
CRM/Loyalty ¿ Manage the company¿s marketing efforts in the area of loyalty programs based on strategic company objectives. ¿ Work closely with Information Management to ensure that all programs fit within the appropriate architecture and can be implemented with the desired traffic driving and loyalty driving goals.
One to One Marketing ¿ Lead our one to one marketing communications efforts. ¿ Work with our agency partners on database collection, management and email deployment. ¿ Manage the National email marketing calendar that will set by the National brand team.
Marketing Portal ¿ Responsible for managing the portal and ensuring appropriate communication items are posted as intended. ¿ Collaborate closely with Information Management to define and manage content management architecture and processes. ¿ The Marketing Portal will reflect a collaboration of company supported programs (Ad builder, creative approvals process, file sharing needs etc).
Agency Management ¿ Manage the digital marketing strategy in conjunction with the Company Brand Managers/Director. ¿ Manages the respective agency partners as it relates to the day to day and long range execution of these plans.
Digital Community Team ¿ This position will also serve as the Marketing Representative on the Digital Community team. ¿ The Digital Community may include Franchise best practice sharing from a local marketing perspective. Experience in Similar Role: 7-10 years Marketing experience, either Client or Agency side in a retail, CPG or restaurant environment Competencies Needed: ¿ Consumer Orientation ¿ Analytical Skills ¿ Superior Verbal/Written Skills ¿ Champion of ideas ¿ Innovation/Creativity ¿ Results Orientation ¿ Collaboration/Teamwork
