Key Accountabilities:
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Assists instructional designers in writing and formatting of training programs. Assists instructional designers with the development of job aids, charts, and other training collateral. Maintains Applebee's core training programs, by keeping content of existing programs current and up to date for the Management and Hourly training programs, Restaurant Operations Manuals, and management development courses. This position supports base-business needs to ensure consistency and accurate information in our training programs.
1. Assist with the documentation of procedures for recipes and plate presentations for menu testing and menu launches - 40%
2. Program Maintenance and Revisions Restaurant Operations Manual, Bar Manual, Recipe Manual, Plate Presentation Manual, and Chart Packages. Coordinates cross-functional review and approval for all training documents - 20%
3. Special Programs support - Develop brief pre-shift meeting guides and rollout guides for programs like Gift Cards, Veterans Day promotion, Contests, etc. - 30%
4. Supports instructional design projects by coordinating print requirements and specifications with print vendors. Monitors and maintains inventory levels of on-shelf programs - 10%

Ideal candidate will have:
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:
1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, English or similar
2. Proficient in MS Word, Abode
